today the nugget asked if we could take the rox fox for a walk and because it was a picture perfect day i was more than happy to go. after floating into my own world [prime example for why i should not and could not have a child right now] i realized nugget wasn't walking next to me anymore. i had a split second heart stopping moment until i turned around and saw him squatting over a puddle of spit on the sidewalk. he was in the process of spitting another string of drool when i stopped him.

"what are you doing, nug?" i asked.

"i'm becoming a man." he responded.
